Just another walk in the park for Drew Brown and Wayne Garrett as they put it on us again. They
won 1st place again and this win also is the second in a row for these Anglers! Their official total weight was 18.88 lbs.
2nd place went to Derek and Allen as they are also the current points leaders as well. 3rd place was a great showing for Bobby
Brooke and his dad Jimmy Brooke. They also took home Big Fish honors too with a 5.90 lb chunker. Gerald Gentry and Brent Fawlkes
came in 4th place as they were on the tail end of the prize money. We had another outstanding turnout of competitors with
a total of 22 boats entered. We only had a couple of dead fish as this is alot better than last tournament. The water temperature
started out at 66 degrees which seems to have made this tourney a little bit tougher than normal because of the transition
from spawn to post/spawn was harder to determine. We had a total weight of 184.67 lbs. caught. Last year at this time and
same place we had combined weight caught at 232.37 and ironically the big fish weight was the same with 5.9lbs that was caught
by Kevin Brooke which is Bobby's brother. We also had the same amount of boats as last year at this tourney.
