This was one tournament that couldn't have ended soon enough for most unless you were
fishing in or near the Swamp. The wind blew 15 to 25 mph. all day and the water temp. rose to 63 degrees by the
end of the day.
1st Place was won by Kevin and Gene Brooke. The
winning weight was 16.43lbs, and they caught a couple on the beds. Jimmy Reed and Jerry Hogge won 2nd place with 15.31lbs
and won the Lunker of the day with a bass that weighed 5.27lbs. 3rd
place went to Ricky West and Jerry Jenkins with a total weight of 14.44lbs.
